The Versatile Blogger Award!

OK, I  am reallllllllly bad at remembering to do things and I just remembered that the FANTASTIC worrywarts-guide-to-sex-and-marriage sent me a nomination way back in November of 2011 and I totally meant to make a post and then the holidays happened…and finals….and life. If you haven’t had a chance to check out the awesome adventures over at worrywarts, please do. Seriously, you’re going to want to subscribe! (and I don’t just say that about everyone!)

Yay! A blogging award!

Here it is. The post!

Thank you, worrywarts! I really love your blog and I appreciate the nomination!!

The rules for The Versatile Blogger are as follows:

1. Show appreciation to the blogger who nominated you and provide a link to his or her blog.

2. Pay it forward to 15 bloggers whose writing, artwork, comics, story telling, life experiences, hardships, recipes, advice, skills . . . . one has found useful, inspirational, entertaining (that is my interpretation of rule # 2, the actual rule is: nominate 15 blogs one likes) . . . .

3. Include seven quirky, little known facts about one’s self.

15 blogs I love:

15. (I like her blog a lot but I doubt she will participate in this Versatile Blogger Award thingy)

Seven Random Facts About Bekah

Oh dear.

1. For a talent show at summer camp I successfully teased my massively frizzy hair into something akin to a lion’s mane. Or a white-girl ‘fro. That was my talent.

2. I have never eaten meat, fish or chicken. Although I have had eggs before.

3. Years of dance probably saved my life. Not because I was in a dance-off but because I am *that* uncoordinated. I may not be graceful now, but if I am even a bit more graceful than I would have been…the world is a safer place.

4. I am a beacon for the odd and weird. If there is a strange person with a story to tell or a borderline inappropriate comment to make within 10 miles of me, they always seem to find me. This is why public transportation can be so fun!

5. I love geography more than the average person. I also love writing and travel. It’s a pity my work is NONE of those things.

6. Sometimes I think it would be fun to do stand-up comedy but I also think the kiss of death is to think you are actually funny. I have decided I am not, in fact funny, but more amusing in a very strange way. It could still work. Maybe some day…

7. I can’t NOT sing in my car. The worst thing is to have a silent car. I have been applauded by passerby for rocking out at a stop light and yes, I am proud of that.

And that is THAT, dear friends.

Thanks again for the lovely nomination and enjoy your fame, dear friends!!

Peace, love, and fresh cookies,
