352 in 52! Reading Challenge 2012

At the beginning of the year, some friends and I pledged to read AT LEAST 52 books in 52 weeks for 2012. I read ridiculously fast so I have a personal goal of 352 books for 2012 (not counting the textbooks or policy books I have to read.).

I am a voracious reader by nature and with that comes an ability to devour books that I am reading for fun. Actually, I can be persuaded to attack my school readings as well, but with hardly the same enthusiasm as an evening spent with my trusty tea cup and a good book. (No wonder I don’t sleep like a normal person!!)  I love adventure books and romance novels; nonfiction and historical tributes and more! I read just about anything, really.

Click the drop down menu on the title of this post to see my list, categorized by month. If I get super bored, I might go in and organize each month by genre as well but don’t bet on it. At least not for awhile! If there is a * next to a title, it means I recommend it!

Do keep in mind that what I read for fun is usually fluffy due to the nature of the books I have to read for grad school.  🙂

P.S. This person is my new reading hero: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/jacketcopy/2009/01/how-to-read-462.html
462 books in one year! OHHhh yes please! I wish I got paid to read.
